After the endoscopy

I Love YouHappy for 7amThanks to each of you for your kind words and prayers. This morning was not ideal (we had to watch her get “poked” 4 times between her two hands with no success in getting the IV in until they finally gave her some gas to sedate her and were successful with the second attempt in her foot), so that was hard to watch as a parent. However, the endoscopy went well and the doctor did not find anything alarming. He said the bottom of her stomach was red and irritated (much like a sore throat would look like) and that it is most likely some form of gastritis, though he wont know for sure until the pathology reports come back on Wednesday afternoon. All that to say, we still don’t know exactly what is wrong, but it looks like we’ll have an answer soon and it doesn’t appear to be as bad as it could have been.I promise to update you again on Wednesday. We appreciate each and everyone of you and I’m showing Kariss all your sweet notes!
